VSE Corporation CECOM Rapid Response (R2) Program Overview

The CECOM Rapid Response Program (CR2) provides federal managers an efficient and effective means of acquiring critical, near obsolete items, thus sustaining crucial weapon systems, mitigating system downtime, and serving the immediate needs of the war-fighters and peacekeepers. The CECOM Rapid Response Project Office manages a Multiple Award Task Order contract vehicle that consists of eight Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts with an aggregate ceiling of $23.2B and an eight-year period of performance, including options. The CR2 program is available to all US Government Agencies and advertises a 19-day award cycle. Since July 1998 over 2536 task orders totaling over $12B have been awarded on the CR2 contract.
