Deltek is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to work in our dynamic Finance department. The Senior Billing Specialist will report directly to the Manager, Services Billing and must thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment that depends on team camaraderie for success.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

analyzing, preparing & reviewing bills primarily for time and material billings, perform account reconciliations, assist with month-end processing, must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients on various billing issues.

Skills:

  • Must have at least five years prior accounting experience.
  • Experience in commercial billing and/or Costpoint is highly desirable, but will consider candidates with commercial experience w/o Costpoint, or with Costpoint and government billing experience.

Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Extremely detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions concerning the amount of time needed to complete projects without intervention.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
