Position Requirements:
 
Work as a software developer as part of a development team which utilizes a diverse dynamic workforce, including many experts in their fields. Specific duties include:
 

  • Responsible for performing system design, development, integration, test and documentation duties to ensure proper operation of hardware and software platforms

  • Adhere to accepted standards for development, including writing unit tests which provide a high percentage of code coverage, participating in peer code reviews, conducting design reviews, and generating test plans to ensure maximum stability and quality of code.

  • Capable of working in a fast paced, agile environment 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: 
 
Minimum ten years in a technical role, working on software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry customers, of which:

  • Ten years experience as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems)

  • Five years experience in some applicable programming language such as the following: JAVA; C++ or C; COBRA; J2EE; Perl; JavaScript; UNIX scripting languages; XML; HTML; workflow tools such as JBoss or Weblogic; DOM; AJAX; Apache; Spring

  • Experience in Web Services implementation.

  • Experience with development of Servlets, JSP’s Struts, and EJB’s required

  • Experience with GWT required

  • Demonstrate experience working on large scalable applications

  • Must be experienced in programming using Top Down, Event Driven, and object-oriented paradigms. 

  • Experience in Agile methods is desired.

  • Must be comfortable working in either Windows or Linux based environments

  • At least 3 years experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity.  

Desired:
 

  • Oracle and/or MySQL database experience a plus

  • Domain knowledge of TF&S a plus

  • Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting (sh, bash, perl, and other scripting tools/languages. 

Security Requirements: Top Secret/SCI clearance w/Polygraph required [Note: CCA clearance acceptable ]
