Primary Duties:

  • Develop and maintain strategic business partnership with executives.
  • Help set and achieve annual and quarterly division performance targets.
  • Lead monthly results analysis and review with assigned executives - provide detail explanations for variances, and research open items.
  • Responsible for bi-weekly Forecast submissions.
  • Responsible for analyzing and reporting on Key Business performance indicators.
  • Lead development of additional reporting to support Sales and Marketing executive decision making.
  • Actively own Key Finance and Business Process ? recommend areas for improvement and lead projects to enhance the reporting and analytical infrastructure, and provide a high level of thought leadership.
  • Assist in compiling presentations for the quarterly operational review meetings.
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/MBA is a plus.
  • 5-7+ years of Finance and Accounting related experience - Software Industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with division management - lead/participate in key business discussions.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting techniques and internal organizational structures.
  • Strong systems aptitude - experience with Costpoint, Cognos or other major financial reporting tools preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel - familiarity with advanced spreadsheet functions; working with Databases, Pivot Tables, and modeling out Business Scenarios.
  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities & assignments as they are identified.
