Introducing govWin... or, What Happened to mySBX?
Well, first let me say: Welcome to govWin, an emerging one-stop shop for all things related to doing business in and around the government. We are turning contacts into contracts.
The Vision: mySBX was created with a grand vision, one that would make mySBX synonymous with winning in the government marketplace. If a company wanted to be serious about their company and being successful in the government industry, then they had to first make sure they were an active participant in mySBX.
The Beginning: We launched that vision in the end of 2007, and in two short years were well on our way to making mySBX something truly special. Small companies and independent consultants were using mySBX to find deals, find billable opportunities, and connect to a community of peers. And then large enterprises like Lockheed Martin, CACI, and Serco made mySBX their go-to place to find and connect with companies, secure teaming partners, and use mySBX Enterprise Suites to manage their supplier management and GWACs. We were truly on our way...
Enter Deltek: Then, in 2009, we got the opportunity to collaborate with an industry leader that had vast expertise and resources, and more importantly, was a trusted partner to all those in the government sector. A large public company that embraced the mySBX vision and so excited about the future agreed to accelerate the efforts and combine forces with all they do.
Over the past few weeks, we've been working together, and with this infusion of talent, resources, and deep expertise, we're truly ready to emerge from the cocoon and take flight.
Introducing govWin: So now we introduce govWin. I like to think of it as mySBX phase II or mySBX evolved. We love the name because it embodies all we do in a simple-to-understand form: Government and Winning!
Some Things Old, Some Things New: All the same features you loved are still here in the new govWin. Plus, there's more: We're integrating key Deltek products, information, and content, and leveraging everything we can now bring to bear, together, for our members.
The most obvious changes are visual -- changes to the design, color scheme, user interface. Also, we've updated some of the naming conventions, to make it easier and more clear for users to find the key features that help them win more business.
And these improvements are just the beginning. We're aggressively and continually improving and adding new features, functions and everything vital to continue our mission of helping our members become more successful.
So, What Do You Think? We want to hear what you think of the new govWin, so please drop me a note at jwhite@govwin.com, and let me know your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.
Thanks to all who helped shape how we got to this point, and we look forward to working together to accelerate the journey to make govWin something truly special and unique.
Thanks -- Jeff
