Senior Accounting Subcontractor

We are seeking a Senior Account on a subcontract.   This subcontractor will lead and perform daily Accounting Department operations. 

Responsibilities include monthly period closing, job costing, AR/AP/Payroll/GL, time reporting and management, government cost proposal development, and other accounting functions. 

Hands on accounting experience with a Federal Government contracting company, Deltek GCS Premier and BS/BA in Accounting required.  Exceptional communication skills, multi-tasking and detail orientation a must.

Required Experience

• Experience as a key performer in a Federal Government contractors finance and accounting department.
• Working knowledge of Deltek GCS Premier
• Experience performing the following finance and accounting functions in Deltek.  
• Job costing (per federal guidelines).
• Accounts payable (A/P)
• Accounts receivable (A/R).
• General Ledger.
• Journal Entries.
• Government cost accounting.
• Payroll reporting and management.
• Monthly bank reconciliation.
• Corporate-wide time reporting management.
• Incurred cost rate determination and annual incurred cost submission.
• Fiscal year-end closing and audit preparation per DCAA and GAO requirements.
• Project and Corporate Budgeting
• Corporate-wide Financial Management Reporting
• Knowledge of FAR/DAR regulations.
• Experience in the development of Federal government cost proposals
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability and hands-on experience required to supervise the day-to-day activities of the accounting clerk.
