IT/Engineering Logistics Manager

Position Requirements:

The Logistics Manager Shall:
Manage training of all ILS and maintenance personnel to ensure they are able to perform their duties.
Manage priorities for corrective maintenance and monitor the performance of scheduled preventive maintenance.
Recommend necessary modifications and engineering changes to improve system operations.
Perform maintenance inspections, surveillance, and evaluations of all maintenance and ILS actions and ensure the validity of logs and forms.
Coordinate new system installations, approved system modifications, and upgrades.
Manage ILS and maintenance practices, techniques and parts selection process.
Manage reporting of discrepancies and provide suggestions for improving maintenance practices and equipment reliability.
Manage ILS and maintenance efforts to ensure servicing, routine replacement, and diagnostics routines are performed as scheduled.
Manage ILS and maintenance proficiency of technical personnel and recommend specific on-the-job requirements to management.
Manage personnel assignments within the Field Engineering organization.
Develop and maintain an inventory of spare parts.

This position requires either a high school diploma (or higher) with college or technical credits/degree and at least 10 (ten) years experience or no high school diploma and at least 12 (twelve) years of experience in the management of the development, ILS, maintenance, and engineering support of efforts involving a DCID PL3 network of 1000 users and 100 sites.
