Help develop one of TIME Magazines 50 best inventions of 2008.  A-Space, an application that ManTech developed for the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Modeled after popular sites like Facebook and MySpace and often referred to as a "social network for spies," A-Space enables intelligence analysts to share information more freely, collaborate across agency lines, and connect in ways unseen to most.

Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the network that fall under the responsibility of the Infrastructure team. Install and maintain Operating systems and related software to ensure stable performance. Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters to ensure hardware and software compatibility. Troubleshoot system problems. Define and perform system management functions. Ensure conformance to backup and disaster recovery plans. Manage user accounts and access controls as defined by process and/or system champions. Develop system specifications and implement complex computing environments. Manage Infrastructure projects for the implementation or upgrade of computer equipment and systems. Mentor junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work. Assist in all audits and maintain DIA/DISA compliance. Follow Change Control procedures for all Infrastructure changes. Provide basic technical assistance in engineering and Internet applications under the supervision of more senior personnel.

Experience:
Requires zero to three years experience to include: 
- Experience involving data base, batch, interactive, and/or LAN based business systems utilizing PCs, and/or medium to large main frame computers. 
- Working knowledge of operating systems concepts and facilities. 
- Experience in one or more of the applicable structured programming languages.
- Experience in different types of applicable data base software.
- Working knowledge of the basic principle of business information systems and engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of state of the art business information systems hardware, software, development tools, techniques, and concepts. 
- Server and Network Administration in a Windows/Web 2.0 environment with Linux a plus. Ability to use MS Office. Oral and Written Communication Skills.
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 0-3 years experience, with 6 years of applicable experience a degree is not required.

Position requires:
Must have a active TS/SCI security clearance.

Experience:
