Zapata Technology is cleared for Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security, veteran-owned, self-certified small disadvantaged business and SBA certified HUB Zone that has provided IT services and software consulting to the U.S. Army since 2007.
ZTI designs, develops and maintains critical intelligence sources by using Java data manipulation toolsets into the DCGS-A Oracle 11 g RAC relational Database Management System (DBMS).
ZTI helped support integration of the DCGS-A capabilities into CENTRIX and the Afghan Mission Network by establishing a two-way ability to push data to our coalition partners and actually pulls data from coalition systems.
ZTI has performed the following on past DoD projects: a) Support resolving Software Problem Report (SPR) in the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Portal, and create CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) Technical Bulletins with the resolutions. b) Integrate and maintain DCGS-A Quarantine software. c) Assist in integration of DCGS-A Fusion Brain data architecture with other Army Programs of Record (POR) data. d) Assist in building classified and unclassified systems in support of integration and testing. e) Provide software development to miscellaneous data feeds as needed for successful data ingestion. f) Ensure the architecture is compliant with the enterprise architecture. g) Configure the DCGS-A Fusion Brain servers using direct attached storage devices. h) Perform pre-certification security scans to identify system vulnerabilities and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) compliance. i) Apply current security patches and properly configured per Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and DOD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) standards. j) Preform regression testing on the system. k) Incorporate user authentication and access controls for logging into the servers as required by the security design. l) Assist in creating and updating system documentation. m) Maintain the DCGS-A Fusion Brain Quick Reference Guide Documentation. n) Perform analysis of intelligence sources to determine a process for automated ingestion of those sources into the DCGS-A Fusion Brain. o) Provide a detailed update of task schedule, provide required reports, and manage both technical and schedule risks. p) Conduct technical exchange meetings (TEMs) to apprise the customer of architecture methodology, and implementation nuances. q) Perform Quality Control (QC) measures to insure the integrity of the system. r) Assist in overall evaluation of database architecture and its integration / enablement with the DCGS-A Fusion Brain architecture. s) Provide systems administration support for the DCGS-A Fusion Brain storage area network and its interoperability with application and database servers. t) Provide systems administration support for the operating systems on which the database and application servers reside. u) Integrate the latest iterations of query and analysis software with DCGS-A Fusion Brain database architecture for data dissemination. v) Assist in the finalization of the system design, identifying requirements that are satisfied by usage of existing database software and storage hardware, and incorporate recommended changes as required.
