At the Chamber's next Morning Fix breakfast, taking place on February 14th, members will speak with Nick Majett, Director of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA).

Anybody doing business in DC does business with DCRA, whether it be a permit for a particular project or just a general business license. Mr. Majett will discuss how DCRA works, the agency’s focus for 2012, and what his office is doing to help strengthen DC’s business development efforts in the coming year. And, of particular interest to members, he’ll be talking about the difficulties the current DC licensing practices present, and how the process can be streamlined.

It promises to be an exceptionally enlightening experience, and a must-attend event for anyone doing business in the District.
